Free Kindergarten Readiness Class

Saturday, February 24th -- LIMITED SEATS AVAILABLE.

10:15 - 11:30 a.m. on campus

Is your child ready for Kindergarten? This event is for one parent and one child (age 4 or 5) to experience an hour of Kindergarten lessons with DaVinci Academy teachers. Space is limited so register early to reserve your child's seat.

K-8 OPEN HOUSE

Saturday, April 13, 2024 

1:00 - 3:00 p.m. on campus

Open House is a family-friendly event. Come see our beautiful campus and meet teachers and current parents. See the rich curriculum on display and special features of the school such as the Science Labs, Art Studio, Gymnastics Room, etc.


Park in the Campbell Avenue lot and come down the path past the Heritage Theater fountains to our front door.

Kindergarten Readiness

A free class for children ages 4 or 5 years old with one parent.

Ready for Kindergarten?

Try the Readiness class.

Kindergarten Readiness is a free 45 minute class for children ages 4 or 5 and one parent. Sign up to meet a teacher and experience the classroom.


Note: Masks are required, as well as a health questionnaire for recent illness or exposure to COVID-19.

Academics

Reading, Math, Handwriting

Activities in reading skills, math concepts and handwriting are covered in the Kindergarten Readiness class. These are teacher-led. One parent can be in the room and see how their child engages with the lessons.


Classroom Skills 

Participation & Ability

Kindergarten is different from preschool and pre-K, with more time requiring focus and distinct time periods for academic progress. Participation, following directions and a child's interest and willingness are important aspects of readiness.
