One of the best times in a child's life is summer time. Count on making lots of new friends, challenging yourself, exploring the Bay Area and staying active all summer long. This year's activity theme is Ocean Exploration. We're going to take a deep dive on this subject, discovering what's underwater and going on trips from tide pools to aquariums to a wildlife rescue center.
Morning academics, afternoon activities and projects, day trips and optional overnight camping trips make Summer of S.T.E.A.M. at DaVinci top on the list for Best Summer Ever!

Summer Schedule
SUMMER CAMP RUNS ON A FULL DAY SCHEDULE
Morning drop-off
Campers arrive from 8:15 - 8:45 a.m.
Levels K - 8
start their camp day at 8:45 a.m.
Afternoon Pick-Up
Parents arrive from 4:15 - 4:30 p.m.
Extended Care is optional and goes until 5:45 p.m.
Our Goals
Provide each camper with a fun, engaging, safe and friendly summer camp where they can learn new things, challenge themselves, make friends and become more able and confident.
Create an inclusive and happy camp environment that:
- balances indoor and outdoor activities,
- offers new experiences and topics to explore,
- challenges children to try something new,
- empowers campers to achieve their personal best,
- sparks each camper's natural curiosity,
- models and teaches respect for one another,
- encourages creative thinking and firsthand discovery,
- is highly enriching and a lot of fun!
Registration Steps
Choose three weeks or all six for a summer packed with fun and learning!
Step Two: Optional - Schedule a Personal Tour
Tours are in-person and offered daily.
Walk through our beautiful facilities and see our gymnastics room, science labs, art studio and bright classrooms. Tell us about your child and your goals for them this summer. This tour is for parents only.

Step Three: Optional Attending More than Two Weeks? Schedule a Half-Day Visit
Meet the teacher, make some new friends, and set summer goals!

A Visiting Day helps us customize summer learning so that each camper gets the most out of their summer camp experience. A visiting child spends up to a half day at DaVinci Academy during a regular school day. They'll receive an academic assessment, meet teachers, make friends and participate in class activities.
We'll take the time to assess their readiness and provide feedback to parents about what progress can be expected in the summer. A visit helps teachers be ready with personalized materials for your child on their first day of camp.
Once we receive your application, we'll contact you to schedule the half-day Visit.
Final Step: Complete Your Registration
You're almost set for Summer Camp at DaVinci Academy!

To complete your registration, we'll send you a contract with your selected days and a link to pay for your choices. You'll turn in:
1. Summer Camp Contract.
2. Summer Camp fees: $50 application fee + $717/week enrolled.
3. Medical Release and Pick-Up Permission forms. These forms keep your child safe at camp by providing medical info and letting us know who is authorized to pick your child up from camp.
Once enrolled, we'll give you a Summer Calendar and all the info your child needs to enjoy themselves at DaVinci Summer Camp! See you there!
Fun and Learning
Academics
During morning study hours, campers get personalized attention from experienced and caring teachers. In just one summer, a camper can conquer a subject they’ve been having difficulty with, explore new subjects of interest, or improve study skills by learning how to study effectively. Campers coming from overseas have plenty of opportunity to practice their English skills, too.
Athletics
Get outside! Play sports and games, build athletic skills and enjoy friendly competition. Gain stamina and strength on outdoor excursions like hiking, swimming, boating, horseback riding and other activities on day trips.
Maker Mindset
What can you make with tools and imagination? Tinkering, making, creativity, DIY, technology and science are fun for campers of all ages. Engaging themes set campers exploring, building and problem-solving together to solve creative challenges.
Arts
It wouldn’t be summer camp without exploring the arts! Our art electives range from painting and design to acting and drawing. Campers may tie-dye a shirt, paint a masterpiece, build a sculpture from recycled objects or blend pastels. The Art Studio is a place to discover new media, film stop motion, make a costume or try some classic camp crafts.
Adventure
Age-appropriate day trips throughout the summer ensure that everyone experiences something new. With health and safety in mind, field trips are planned that put campers out in nature, in museums, workshops and other learning experiences where they can explore and learn firsthand. Campers are encouraged to ask questions and discover new abilities. DaVinci Academy campers have many opportunities for personal growth.
